13U & 14U Competitive Volleyball

These are competitive teams that travel to 5 tournaments in the local area. The expectation is that athletes have played volleyball prior and are at an advanced level. These teams are selected through a tryout process.

Pre-Tryout Clinic

Pre-tryout clinic information:

This is an opportunity for you to see what our program is about and if it is a good fit for you and your family. It also gives coaches an opportunity to see more skills rather than just a one-day tryout. The format will be similar to tryouts with plenty of opportunities for touches and live play.

Tryouts

Tryout information:

Athletes will be evaluated by coaches on their skills, team play, attitude, and effort. Additionally, teams are comprised of multiple positional players and will be selected to fill the roster accordingly. Verbal or written offers for teams will be communicated after tryouts.

Acceptance Day | July 7

This is the date for athletes to officially accept their offers from any club in the North Texas Region. Athletes can play with the club of their choice but they are unable to transfer during the regular season after making their choice.

Practices

13U: Wednesdays and twice a week before a tournament or at the coach's discretion after tournaments begin

14U: Mondays and twice a week before a tournament or at the coach's discretion after tournaments begin

Tournament Details

5 local tournaments all two-day format

(Typically in Ruston, Longview, and Shreveport

Will confirm official dates in the fall.)

Season Fees

$900 Season Dues

Fee schedule:

$450 Due on acceptance

$450 Due on first day of practice

USAV Membership Information

$55 Membership to USAV (required on or after September 1)

All athletes must have a USAV Membership to participate. This membership provides sport accident and liability insurance.
